Ever since the release of UI3, Figma has not been the same. Pages load slower, the canvas is way laggier, multi-selecting multiple child components make the whole program nearly non-functional, and the endless loading wheel has become my new best friend. I’m not sure where else put this other than here.

I get new features are new and exciting, but using figma has actively slowed me down in the last year simply by not having the performance it had prior to UI3 release. My whole design team is feeling the same way I am and we’re becoming increasingly less pleased to be paying thousands of dollars a year for this program if it continues on this path.

I can’t attach videos here unfortunately, but I’ll be more than happy to share examples of issues I’m running into if any mod/Figma employee would like to chat further.

Hi @Alex_Young-Davies2 ,

Thank you for your honest feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing slow loading behavior and lag. Our team is actively investigating performance issues right now. Could you please submit a file at http://figma.bot/submitreport?

Thanks for your patience!

I'm experiencing the same issue here. I have a prototype that's practically ready for presentation, and this week it has become completely unworkable and impossible to present to the client.

To force updates in the design area, I have to group and ungroup objects after activating a variable that should display an element. And in presentation mode, it's just not usable. I can't show it to the client because things simply don't work.

If this issue persists, it could lead to financial problems for me, as I might have to restart the project on another platform.

Hi @Rodrigo Bermudez

Thanks again, and I’m sorry to hear you’re also experiencing the issue. Our team is eager to improve performance, so could you please submit a file at http://figma.bot/submitreport?

Thanks,
Toku
