Why is there a difference between Figma Design and Figma Sites? Figma Design should just give you the various breakpoints by default if you want to build a site. If you want to create a website in Design, just publish the project. It’s incredibly ridiculous that if you want to build a prototype that has the interactions available in Sites, that you can’t do those in Design. It’s also ridiculous that there is a “responsive” option when previewing a Figma Design project, but it doesn’t snap to a mobile layout. You can sort of achieve this with min/max widths and auto layout, but it won’t snap from a desktop nav to a mobile nav. I mean, all the components are cross compatible anyway, and the UI properties between Deign and Sites are the same, so why are there 2 different tools? Why not just include the AI builder tool in Design? What is the point of Figma Make this AI builder is available in Sites? Just do it all in one version…. unless you’re planning to make Figma Sites an upcharge if you want to use it, just like you did with Dev Mode… Unbelieveable!
