Figjam just changed their color palette (that looks quiet bad).

My problem is that old stickies are still in the old palette, so when I edit a Figjam created before the palette update, I cannot add stickies that are the same color as the existing ones !

The only workout is to change the color of each old sticky note one by one…

Expected behaviour : stickies placed before the palette update should be switched to the new palette! (as opposed to frames and shapes that support custom colors should stay as they are)

Hey @noedesigns, sorry for the frustration!

Right now, this is the expected behavior. Because of how the new palette was built, existing objects on the canvas will not have their colors change to the new palette automatically. Hence why your new objects will be slightly different colors.

The team recommends bulk selecting objects (of the same type) and changing the colors manually to ensure they match. They also added a tooltip for users that should have appeared when the colors went live to inform you about the new hues.

That said, our team also recently built a plugin to easily convert from old colors to the new ones. Check it out here: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1469443704502612629/update-figjam-colors

This makes no UX sense. I can’t stand the new hues and yet there’s no setting to easily modify this? @dvaliao

We hear your frustration, @Joe from KS

Right now, customizable colors are only available on the Organization plan and Enterprise plan. There are plugins in the community that may help, Custom Sticky Color for example.

We also have a feature request that you can add your feedback to for the FigJam team here:
