Feedback: Updates to our Figma Education plan

I am an educator using Figjam Teams in my classroom. Several of my students with valid student IDs & emails are getting error messages from SheerID and cannot validate their student status. I have tried emailing the Figma Education Support email with no response.

I completely understand how this must be disrupting your classroom. As mentioned above by Junko, have your students tried contacting the SheerID support team yet?

Our support team and Education team is not able to manually review documents or change review status. To help complete their verification, they should ensure that any documentation they submit includes:
- Their full name
- School name
- Current term dates

In many cases, unofficial transcripts work well for students. If you don’t have access to that, any official school-issued document that includes the details above should also work. Students can contact Sheer ID here: https://support.sheerid.com/en-US/help-center/contact-form

Hello, I am a high school student who is wishing to use Figma Sites and publish a site, but the Education plan does not allow for this since I am not in “higher education”. It’s been previously said that Education receives all features from a Professional Full seat with the exception of products in beta, but now that higher education receives one free site to publish, a product still considered to be in beta, I’m curious to know the rationale behind not allowing high school students to use Sites. Thanks!
