Feedback: AI progress indicator hard to see

I can’t tell if Figma Make is still thinking.

I’m using Figma Make on the canvas. Next to the selected object there’s a little AI icon that I use to access the AI prompt.

Once I commit, the icon spins to indicate that Make is processing my request.

The icon disappears when I’m not hovering over the object. I’d like to see the icon stay visible as long as the processing is still happening.

The icon animates with a little spin, but in between spins it freezes for a while. I have to wait to see if the icon is animating.

These two effects combine to make it hard to tell if Make is still thinking or if it’s done. I suppose this also suggests the overall feedback, with the colour animation over the object, isn’t quite doing it for me.

Are others having trouble with this or am I just unobservant?
