I wanted to delete and recreate a post that I accidentally created as a “Question” when I wanted to create is as a “Conversation”, but I realized I can’t delete the post because there is no delete button anywhere.

Hey @AdrianCuad, thank you for sharing your feedback! You're totally right- at this moment, there's no option for users to delete their own posts, but this is something that's already on our radar.

There are a couple of workarounds- you can either DM us directly and we’ll delete the post on your behalf, or you can report your own post and mention in the reason field that you'd like it deleted.

I know this isn’t the best user experience, and we really appreciate your patience as we work on improving it.Can you please let me know the title of your post, I’ll go ahead and delete it for you!

@Gayani_S

It’s this post:

I recreated that post as a conversation because I created it as a question but then I realized it should have been a conversation. So we can delete the post that is a question and keep the one that is a conversation.

When I created the conversation, I accidentally made a comment that had the same contents as the post itself. Can we delete that too? (the comment in the post that is a conversation, not the post itself).

Hey there, thanks for the clarification! I’ve gone ahead and removed the original question post, as well as the duplicate comment on your conversation post.

Feel free to double check and let me know if I missed anything.

In the future, no need to create a new post—we can help convert a post from question to a conversation for you. Just report your post and let us know what you'd like changed, and we’ll adjust it for you!
