Allow binding variables to specific objects for better flexibility

Vitaly B.

Hi,

I'm currently very actively trying to incorporate variables and conditions into our project and doing a lot of cool stuff (I'm sure some of it is truly unique). However, all my ideas hit a wall because it's impossible to bind variables to specific objects only. Since the variables are global, I can't use my unique dropdowns or inputs because I can't make them as flexible and manageable as components with variants.

If you could make it possible to manage variables more flexibly, it would significantly help in prototyping unconventional things. As an example of what I mean, I'd suggest taking a look at my currency dropdown and inputs fields.

Hi @Vitaly B., thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback! I can understand how the global nature of variables might be limiting for what you’re trying to achieve, especially with custom dropdowns and input fields. I’ll be sure to pass your suggestion along to our team for consideration.

Thank you,

Gayani
