I just used up 300 credits for it to try to use the fast apply tool and fail and then tell me to do it manually - This was just a find and replace of a field name across a few data files.

With the 3000 monthly cap - ill get 2 days worth of work.

I have a lot of doubt I could make this part of my normal process because of the credit limits. It really feels gross that I have to spend so many credits to get the AI to do very specific, clearly stated things. If I don’t get what I wanted, I shouldn’t be using credits.

I’d like to see Figma give me a chance to say I got what I asked for.

  • Each result already has a thumbs up or down option.
  • If I give it a thumbs up or start another prompt, the credits should be charged.
  • If I give it a thumbs down, the credits are NOT charged and the prototype reverts to the previous state.
  • Reverting the prototype should prevent people gaming the system except for the final prompt… And you could also put an expiration time on an unapproved prompt if you wanted to prevent that.

3,000 credits - we used over 8000 in 2 weeks - not because we were getting a lot done - but we had to keep correcting Figma AI. We have now resorted to using Gemini to generate the code and then add it manually to Figma - we just building a backup process in case Figma does not increase credit limits.
