I initially purchased the Professional Dev Seat, but a Full Seat was accidentally added while I was using it, and it appears I will be double-charged.

I am told that the total bill for next month is expected to be $40. Since this seems like double billing, I would like to cancel the Dev Seat I paid $15 for and use only the Full Seat.

I do not quite understand the billing system. Is it possible to get a refund or make a change?

Hi @정재석 , Celine from the Community Support team at Figma here, happy to assist! I understand you'd like to cancel the Dev seat and keep only the Full seat, and you're wondering whether a refund is possible for the accidental charge.

To clarify how Figma's seat system works: a Full seat already includes everything a Dev seat covers, so you're right that having both would result in being billed for two seats unnecessarily.

Here's what you can do right away: from the file browser, click  Admin in the left sidebar > Select the  People tab > Click a person’s current seat from the Seat type column> In the popup modal, select and confirm the new seat typ.> From here, you can downgrade the Dev seat to a free View seat. This will make sure you're only billed for the Full seat going forward.

As for the refund, our support team will be best placed to review your billing in detail and advise on what's possible (we're unable to handle billing requests directly from the Forum). I can see your existing support ticket (your case number is #1951170) and have added a follow-up note for you. Please keep an eye on your inbox for their response! Thanks for your patience 🙏

Update: Great news! Our support team has reviewed your upcoming invoice and confirmed that it has already been adjusted. The Dev seat that was added by mistake has been removed, so you won't be charged the original amount. 🎉

Please check your inbox for the full details, and feel free to continue the conversation via your support case if you have any further questions. I’ll go ahead and closed the thread here, thanks for your patience!
