Workspace/Page Limitations

Dear Figma Support,

I want to share some feedback regarding changes to the workspace and page structure in Figma.

Previously, it was possible to work on a much larger, more open canvas structure, which made it far easier to build complex projects, large storyboards, and presentation flows in a single workspace. With the current limitations, I’m now forced to compress much more content into a single page, which creates significant practical problems.

This affects my workflow in several ways:

  • Large projects and storyboards no longer fit naturally into one coherent workspace.
  • Navigation and zooming have become much less efficient.
  • Presenting work to clients or teams is more difficult because everything feels overly compressed and fragmented.
  • Overall project clarity and spatial organization have noticeably worsened.

I genuinely do not understand the reasoning behind this change, as from a professional workflow perspective it feels like a significant downgrade rather than an improvement.

What concerns me most is that this feels like a core reduction in usability. For users like me, who rely on Figma for large-scale conceptual work and storytelling, this directly impacts productivity.

I would like to ask whether there is any way to restore the previous workspace behavior, remove these limitations again.

I strongly believe many professional users may be experiencing similar frustrations.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

best regads!
