Will the "Font changed to italics" issue ever get solved? :( (Need help)

Will the “Font changed to italics” issue ever get solved or we’ll have to keep trying makeshift solutions, which has eventually stopped working for me :((

Context - I am using Gotham typeface in one of my projects and somehow randomly the medium weight of this typeface gets changed to italics when i don’t even have the italic style in my font pack..

Sometimes I tried uninstalling Figma, clearing its cache and the issue would get resolved by clicking on the text again. But now this method is not working.

I would be very grateful if someone guides me out of this font issue
