why does my messages keep saying failed again and again?

I understand you're seeing a "failed" message repeatedly in the AI chat in your Figma Make project.

I want to make sure I understand your setup — are you trying to attach audio files or other files directly to your prompt? If so, please note there are some limitations:

• You can attach up to 10 files per prompt
• The total number of attachments depends on your plan (e.g., Starter plan: 30 attachments)

If that's not the case, could you let us know if you're seeing a specific error message? This guide lists common error messages and what they mean, which might help: Troubleshoot in Figma Make
Also, does the issue still occur if you switch to a different AI model? Select an AI model to use in Figma Make

If none of the above helps, please submit a bug report so our team can take a closer look:

1. Go to the Support Hub
2. Type "Report a bug" and Click Start a chat
3. In the form, please include:
   • A direct URL to your file - View access granted to support-share@figma.com (this won't affect your billing)
   • A screenshot or short video of the issue
   • A brief description of what you were trying to do in Figma Make

This will help our team visualize and investigate the issue more effectively.

That usually happens when the file gets too heavy or your browser struggles to handle it.

Try this:

• Refresh Figma or reopen the file

• Clear browser cache or switch browser (Chrome works best)

• Split your design into smaller pages/files instead of putting everything in one

• Check your internet connection

If it still fails, it might be a temporary Figma issue give it a bit and try again 👍

yeah I tried that and it still says failed, maybe its a big document?
