Question

Why can't I drag on the width-indicator label to change the width of an element?

designerarvid

Previous highly conveinient way to resize an element into grid increments (multiple of 8 for instance), is to click and drag on the “W” and “H” of the dimension settings, while holding shift.

This is not possible anymore?

Hi @designerarvid, thanks for reaching out!

I just tested this capability in the desktop app and using a Chrome browser, and it seems to still be working as expected, though you do not need to hold shift.
You just need to hover over W or H until the scrubbing cursor appears.

If this is still happening, when did this last work as expected for you? What OS are you using? And is this happening in both the desktop app and the browser?

With these details, I can flag this over to our technical quality team to investigate.

Hi,

yes it started working again after some reloads. I’m using mac osx and firefox.

Shift is for nudge amount increments, that’s the important part of the feature.

Hi @designerarvid, thanks for following up!

Glad to hear it started working again after reloading, and of course - noted!
You must have meant that you set 8 as your larger/Big Nudge increment; apologies for the oversight on my part.

Please do let us know if you run into any further issues.
