Question

When will Figma fix the UNDO behaviour?

When using “Undo” I want to undo changes not “clicks” or selections.

Yes, this is addressed in several threads, but this is one of the reasons Figma is so frustrating, that I seriously considers changing job to a company NOT using figma. Funny how a UX design-tool can have a terrible User Experience.

Question: Will and When do we get this fixed?

Over the last few weeks, undo has not been working for me periodically. While designing I will be using “command + Z” as I’m working, and then all of a sudden it will stop working. It won’t work when using the edit menu → undo either. I often lose designs I’ve been working on and can’t find them on the version history.

The undo button works most of the time, but then all of a sudden it will stop working which is really frustrating because it’s unexpected and often results in losing work. To fix it, I usually quit the app and open again, but then a few days later it will happen again.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

For context, I am the using Figma App on my Macbook Air with the laptop keyboard.

PLEASE fix this already and yes, this is one of my no 1 complaints too.

I also just found out this also works the same way on FigJam boards, which shows this is actually a bug, not a feature -- I can imagine some utility on this for Figma designs (and there are folks out there who like it), but on FigJam, not at all.

This would resolve another big product issue with Figma: undo limit. I find myself many times to have to redo designs, because I ran into undos limit.

While other design toola went far to implement History and branching, we still have a bug that to some people seems as a feature, but to must just a bug.

Please, fix!
