Is this a bug? or is it my file? I never encounter something like this…. see screen record, when I resize it, the width start going loco

Hey ​@Erris_Veliu , Celine from Figma here. Thanks for sharing the screen recording! Yes… that definitely looks a bit loco as you said 😅 That’s not expected behavior.

We’re not currently aware of a known issue like this, so a few quick things to check first:

  • Does this happen in both the browser and the desktop app, or just one of them?

  • Is it only happening on this specific file or any files?

  • As a first step, could you try fully force quitting Figma and reopening it to see if that helps? And please try in another browser, if this only affects a specific browser here?

If it’s still happening after that, I’d love our team to take a closer look at your file since we’re not able to reproduce it on our end. I’ve sent you a DM so we can continue there and review it more securely. Thanks for flagging this!

Update: We reviewed this via DM, and the behavior was caused by resizing a main component inside an auto-layout with duplicated main components, which created a resizing loop.
