“We ran into an error while adding your library.” Need Help Exporting Published Library to Figma Make

I have already published my  library successfully. However, when I click “Export to Figma Make”, I keep receiving an error message and the export does not go through.

At the moment, I am not sure what is causing this issue. I would appreciate it if you could help me identify the reason and suggest a solution.

Hi @Xavier Coulombe , @Ben_Marker , and other community members still experiencing this issue,

After checking with our engineering team, the recommended solution is to recreate the Make kit, starting again from the entry point.

For example, if you're starting from a Design File, please follow these steps:

  1. First, ensure you're on the latest version.
  2. Go to the library file you want to use in a Make kit.
  3. Click the down arrow next to the file name > Library > Use library in Make.

You can find more details in this guide: Bring style context from a Figma Design library to Make kits

Thanks,

It worked here. No more errors. Thanks @Junko3 @Celyn_L

Its not fixed for me. I get the same error, just a different icon on the affected folder(s).  I also now get an “Already imported”, when it failed?   I’m still not sure which is true… imported or failed?
Should I open a ticket?

Hi @Xavier Coulombe and @Ben_Marker,

Thanks for flagging that you're still seeing the same error message and for noting that the imported library now shows a warning icon.

I've passed this along to our team and will let you know once we hear back.
