Okay so this was driving me crazy for a few days. I found the solution, so i thought Iâd post it here in case anyone ran into the same thing. ALSO I still think itâs a bug (FYI Figma).
I wanted a video to play from a certain timestamp when the user landed on a certain screen, but it wouldnât work. I thought first it was a bug, then I thought I had to put the triggger on a different object, etc.
Turns out it only works if the âplay videoâ interaction comes BEFORE the âset timeâ interaction. You can stack them together as âsimultaneousâ, but âplayâ has to be first in the list. This was not intuitive for me at all, since I wouldnât want the video to start playing before the playhead was moved to the correct time.
But there you go. Iâm glad I found out how to make it work, but I still donât see any reason why it shouldnât work the other way around. IMO itâs a bug.
