Okay so this was driving me crazy for a few days. I found the solution, so i thought I’d post it here in case anyone ran into the same thing. ALSO I still think it’s a bug (FYI Figma).

I wanted a video to play from a certain timestamp when the user landed on a certain screen, but it wouldn’t work. I thought first it was a bug, then I thought I had to put the triggger on a different object, etc.

Turns out it only works if the ‘play video’ interaction comes BEFORE the ‘set time’ interaction. You can stack them together as “simultaneous”, but ‘play’ has to be first in the list. This was not intuitive for me at all, since I wouldn’t want the video to start playing before the playhead was moved to the correct time.

But there you go. I’m glad I found out how to make it work, but I still don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work the other way around. IMO it’s a bug.
