So, I am on the same Figma page on the screenshot. Left is the Windows 11 app and on the right side is the Browser version. Why is the Variables Tab missing on Windows?
I tried to delete the cache by deleting C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Figma\Desktop\ and
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Figma\DesktopProfile\ folders.

From the left screenshot you shared, it looks like you might be in Figma Draw.
Could you try switching to 'Design' by clicking on it in the toolbar? Then, see if that makes the 'Variable' section appear in the 'Design' tab on the right sidebar.
