I am noticing in Figma UI3, that not only are my variables aren’t linking to elements, but they’re not updating whenever I make an update. Why is that? I’ve tried restarting my computer, etc., nothing happens.

Is there a preference setting available that I can make to change this?

Light & Dark Mode Test in UI3 = here’s the direct link to the Figma file. 

There’s a bug inside of Figma on Windows for some reason. Each time a variable is created, it doesn’t link to specific elements through the Appearance panel as you direct it, nor does it make all modes available to be chosen in the panel. 

Why is UI3 giving these problems? According to the Ask the Community, this issue of variables not updating once they’re created, has been going on for a year now.
