Hey ​@Darshit, thanks for reaching out!

Since you're on an Enterprise plan, the good news is you have a clean path to sort this.

Here's what to do:

  1. Log in to Figma and head to your Admin panel. You'll find it in the left sidebar of the file browser under your organisation name.
  2. Go to Members and locate the previous owner's account.
  3. From there, an organisation admin can claim ownership of any teams or projects that are now ownerless, or reassign them directly.
  4. If the team still shows the departed member as owner, navigate to the team, open View members, click the permissions dropdown next to your name (or another active member), and set it to Owner. Figma will ask you to confirm — it can't be undone, but ownership can always be transferred again later.

If the account hasn't been deprovisioned yet, you'll also want to remove the previous owner from your organisation once ownership is transferred, to keep things tidy. Our Remove people from an organisation article walks through that.

One thing worth knowing: on Enterprise, when a member is removed, their draft files become accessible to organisation admins in the Admin panel, so nothing should get lost in the process.
