(Urgent) Figma student account access restricted

Hello. Dear Figma Team

I have all my academic work back in my school account, but I recently graduated and the school account itself got deactivated (I cannot log in and access my school email now).

The issue is I cannot log in back to retrieve my work, would there be any way to access that account again/or move the files to my other figma account? Thank you

Hey @JNN, thanks for reaching out!

I can see your support ticket (#2128369), and that's the right place for this. Since you can't get into the school email tied to your account at all, our customer support team needs to verify your identity before they're able to update anything on the account. It's not something we can sort out here on the forum, but our team will be able to help out.

A couple of things that might help in the meantime:

  1. If your school email happens to forward to a personal inbox you can still access, try a password reset on your Figma account first.
  2. If not, our team will likely ask for something that shows your affiliation with the school (a student or alumni ID, enrollment letter, or diploma works) to confirm it's really your account before any changes are made.

Once you're back in, you can move your work. Save a local copy of your files and import them into your other account.

Someone from our team should in touch with you soon, appreciate your patience!
