Urgent Billing Dispute – Unauthorized Charges

Hello,

I’m writing to dispute the recent charges on my account. I noticed that my subscription has suddenly increased significantly despite the fact that I did not add any new seats, upgrade my plan, or otherwise authorize a change to my subscription.

My subscription was previously $23.80/month for the last few years, but I was suddenly charged $88.86 in July and have now been billed $71.40 for August for 3 Professional seats.

I did not add these seats, upgrade my subscription, or authorize these charges. I also have not used Figma in several months.

Please:

  • Refund the $88.86 July charge
  • Cancel/reverse the $71.40 August invoice
  • Remove any additional seats that I did not authorize
  • Confirm that no further charges will be made

Please investigate how these seats were added and resolve this billing issue as soon as possible. I have attached the relevant invoices for reference. As of now I am cancelling subscription alltogether.

Best,

Hi, @pranamita.design - thanks for your post. I can appreciate you wanting this resolved since you weren’t expecting these charges. Just as an FYI, I had to remove your attached invoices for privacy reasons.

Since we can’t directly assist with billing and account issues here in the forum, I’ve created a ticket with our support team for you so they can help you with your request. You should get that via email shortly! You’re welcome to reply to that with any additional information, though I did include a summary of what you posted here. While you are choosing to cancel your subscription right now, we have an article on managing billing on the Professional plan that you could check out. It’ll help explain how billing and seat management works, that way if you upgrade in the future you’ll be able to make informed choices about what affects your billing.
