Hi, I’ve been trying to contact the sales team to upgrade to an organisation plan. But they haven’t been replying to me at all what’s going on with customer service? I need the upgrade asap I’m a freelancer with a limited company that needs it.

Hey @Paplito Kitenge-Fuki, thanks for sharing more detail!

You likely don't need to wait on the Organization upgrade to unblock the AI build. Every Full seat on the Professional plan includes 3,000 AI credits per month, and once those are used up, you can purchase more directly. No upgrade required:

  • Ongoing monthly subscription, adds a set number of credits to your plan each month
  • Pay-as-you-go, only pay for what you use, up to a spending limit you choose

Since it sounds like you're on your own team, you'll likely have admin access already, so you can do this yourself: Admin tab → AI credits section → View usage → + Add credits. Full details on both options are here: Manage AI credits. (If someone else manages billing on your team, they'd be the one to action this instead.)

On the Organization plan piece, this part is fixed and doesn't have flexibility either way. Organization requires the account doing the upgrade to be on an email tied to a company domain, since several security and access features depend on recognizing who's part of your company versus a guest. Personal email providers like Gmail or Outlook.com won't work for this upgrade path, regardless of team size or business type.

If you have (or can set up) an email address on your own business domain, you can switch your account over to it here: Manage email address or password, then the Organization upgrade guide from my last reply should work for you.

Just to double check, is the email on your account currently through a personal provider, or is it already on a domain you or your business owns?

The email ticket (#2063606) has been resolved on our end, If anything further comes up on that thread, just reply there and we'll reopen it for you. But hopefully the AI credits option gets you moving again today.

Hey @Paplito Kitenge-Fuki, thanks for reaching out!

I can see you've also reached out to us by email (ticket #2063606). I've flagged it internally so it gets picked up by our team, and I'll follow up here as soon as I hear back.

One thing worth checking in the meantime: our sales team is really only needed for larger or more custom setups. If both of these apply to you, you might actually be able to upgrade yourself right now, without waiting on anyone:

  • Your Figma account uses a work email tied to your company's domain (not a personal address)
  • You're paying by credit card rather than invoice

If that sounds like your setup, this guide walks through the steps: Upgrade or downgrade your plan. If you do need to pay by invoice, or your account needs something more custom, that's exactly what our sales team handles. So you're in the right place.

Thanks for your patience, I'll keep this thread updated as soon as I hear more.

Thank you,

I don’t have a work email this is my work email because I’m a freelancer. If I could upgrade as soon as possible to get the AI features I need would really appreciate it. I’ve maxed out on my credits and my client needs the AI build to finish ASAP ✅
