Has anyone run into this issue before?

I'm trying to upgrade my Figma plan, but I keep getting this error:

"

and therefore must continue to pay in EUR. Please confirm your payment information works for EUR."

The strange part is that the checkout page shows the price in USD, not EUR.

I've already tried:

  • multiple cards (including EUR cards)
  • cards that worked for Figma payments before
  • different browsers
  • incognito mode
  • disabling VPN

Nothing helped.

I contacted support 4 days ago but haven't received a response yet.

Any ideas on what else I can try?

Hi ​@Vitalii Bululukov, welcome to Figma Forum and sorry about the trouble with your account.

At this time, it's not possible to change the currency on an existing subscription. A few others have run into this — ​@Celine_ addressed it in a bit more detail here: Problems with payment and billing address. That should provide some helpful context.
