University email deactivated, need email transfer - URGENT

Hi Figma team,

My Figma account is linked to a university email that has been deactivated after my graduation (8 months ago), so I can no longer receive login or verification emails.

 

I’d like to transfer the account ownership to m

y personal email and continue using Figma on a paid plan.

 

Old email on the account:
[redacted PII - DJV 2/4/26]

New email: [redacted PII - DJV 2/4/26]

 

I can provide any verification needed (graduation certificate, government ID, or any other documentation).

 

This account contains dozens of FigJam projects created over the past 4 years, including freelancing training boards, branding projects, personal study materials, and much more.
I’ve invested approximately 600+ hours into this work, and losing access would mean losing several years of critical work.

 

I’m ready to upgrade to a paid plan as soon as access is restored.

It’s been almost  3 days and I haven’t got a reply 
I fear the fact that they send a reply to the deactivated email and therefor I wouldn’t be able to view it or react to it. I hope that you can help me with that

Yes, it does look like support’s reply was sent to your previous email. 

I just created a follow up ticket #1743970 on your behalf including support’s previous reply trying to verify your ownership of the account. Please check your personal email at your earliest convenience to provide that information. Support will then be able to verify your ownership and help update your email address.
