Unexpected AI Credit Consumption in Figma Design

Hello Figma Support,

I’m using the AI features in Figma Design, not Figma Make.

Request ID: srid_H3N8E1H57SZXCX2K1FXG6G6DF

I used Figma Design AI to create two UI dialog windows, but the request appears to have consumed over 900 AI credits.

This seems unusually high for such a small design task, especially considering my monthly allowance is only 2,000 AI credits.

Could you please investigate this request and clarify:

  1. The exact number of credits consumed by this request.

  2. Why designing just two dialog windows required so many credits.

  3. Whether the request involved unexpected retries, repeated processing, or any other issue that could have increased consumption.

  4. Whether my credits can be restored if the usage is found to be incorrect.

Credit usage for agentic AI features varies with the task and the context involved, like attached files, design libraries, or chat history. I can’t say what drove the usage on your request, which is why I’d like the team to take a proper look.
