Hi Figma Support,

I purchased a Professional annual plan for 1 full seat on June 20, 2026 ($36 invoice paid).

My workspace currently has:

  • 1 Full seat (myself)
  • 0 Dev seats
  • 0 Collab seats
  • 0 Monthly seats

However, my upcoming invoice shows a $156 billing adjustment for “Seat updates”.

Could you please explain where this $156 charge comes from?

For context while they take a closer look: Seat update charges can appear when a seat was approved or changed mid-cycle (e.g. a paid seat upgrade triggered from inside a file) and gets billed at a prorated amount on the next invoice, separate from the seat count currently shown in your workspace. That said, Product Support will need to look at your account directly to confirm what's driving this specific charge.

Hello Figma Support Team,

I would like to request the cancellation of my Professional Full Seat subscription.

At the moment, I no longer require a Full Seat and would prefer to downgrade my account to a lower-tier seat or the Free plan, if applicable.

Additionally, before any further charges are processed, I would appreciate clarification regarding the upcoming $161 Seat Updates adjustment shown on my billing page. I would like to understand what specific seat change triggered this charge and whether it can be removed if it was generated unintentionally.

Please confirm:

  • The effective date of the cancellation or downgrade.
  • Whether any future charges will still be applied.
  • The details of the $161 Seat Updates adjustment.

Hello Figma Support Team,

I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of my Professional subscription and the removal of any upcoming charges associated with this account.

I upgraded to the Professional plan expecting a clearer and more capable experience. Instead, the billing and seat management system has been extremely confusing and frustrating.

Before upgrading, I was using the free plan and was able to create and edit design files without issue. After upgrading, my account now appears to be assigned a Collab seat, and I have lost functionality that I previously had on the free plan.

At the same time, I am seeing an upcoming Seat Updates charge of $161, despite having no clear understanding of what change triggered this charge or why it is being applied.

As a paying customer, I find it unacceptable that:

  • I cannot clearly determine what seat is assigned to my account.

  • I appear to have fewer design capabilities than before upgrading.

  • An additional $161 charge is scheduled without a clear explanation.

  • I am left concerned that my payment method may be charged before this issue is resolved.

Therefore, I am requesting:

  1. Immediate cancellation of my Professional subscription.

  2. Confirmation that no further charges will be processed while ticket #1973434 is under review.

  3. A detailed explanation of the $161 Seat Updates charge.

  4. Instructions for returning my account to the free plan.

I would appreciate a prompt response, as I do not wish to incur any additional charges while this matter remains unresolved.
