Hello Figma Community,
I am writing this post to report an absurd situation and to request a direct intervention from the Figma staff.
I am a legitimate design student enrolled at ISIA ROMA DESIGN in Italy. Like thousands of other students, I tried to activate the Education plan to use Figma for my studies.
Your verification partner, SheerID, first blocked me with a generic error: "Verification Limit Exceeded."
I followed the support procedure ("Get help") as instructed. The response I received was an insult: a SheerID agent informed me that my request could not be processed and that my "ticket has now been permanently closed."
With no explanation, no reason given, and no way to appeal.
I am now stuck in limbo:

I am a real student, eligible for the Education plan.

Your external partner has blocked me and "permanently closed" my case.

As a result, I am unable to access the tools that are essential for my education.
My question for Figma is: Is this how you treat your future professional users? Do you accept your partners unjustly blocking students for no reason and with no appeal?
I demand a solution.
Can someone from the Figma staff please intervene and review my case? Can I send my documents (ISIA enrollment certificate) directly to you for a manual verification?
This verification process is failing miserably and damaging your reputation among students.
