unable to verify student status for figma

I am reaching out to the Figma team as someone is  enrolled as a student at college. My classmates have been able to verify their student account. But I am unable to do so. And now I have come down to ‘Verification Limit Exceeded’. It’s a frustrating loop and I have even reached out to SheerID and education@figma multiple times, but the request has been turned down and failing, saying they’re unable to verify it. Please help me for the same.

Hey ​@shamika, I’m really sorry you’ve been stuck in this verification loop.

The verification process and limits are fully managed by SheerID, which is the service Figma uses to confirm student eligibility. Because of that, we unfortunately don’t have the ability on our side to manually review documents, reset verification attempts, or override the result.

I can see you’ve already reached out to our education team (Ticket #1778837), and they’ve also recommended contacting figmasupport@sheerid.com, as they’re the team who can investigate your verification attempts and reset the limit for you. I know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for. SheerID responses can take around 7-10 business days, but they’ll be the best team to look into why the verification is failing and help you move forward.
