I recently received a message stating that my Figma Education Plan has expired, even though the Education Plan is supposed to last for two years, and I have only been using it for one year.

Since my circumstances have not changed and I cannot afford the premium plan, I reapplied for the Education Plan, but my request was rejected with giving this meesage
: You’ve already used up your free access to the Figma Education plan.

Upgrade your plan to keep creating and editing unlimited files, or create a new Professional team.

Is there a time limit for accessing the Education Plan?

I can't afford the premium plan so plz allow me to use educational plan as there are my bootcamp project that I can't view or further work on.

Hey @fuzail, thanks for reaching out about this.

I see that you're already chatting with one of our support specialists about this, and it looks like they've also explained the reasoning behind the decision. If you haven't had a chance yet, could you please take a look at their response?

Thanks!

For anyone else in the community who comes across this and is curious about the duration of education status:

  • K-12 & Higher Education: 2 years.
  • Bootcamps & online courses: 6 months. Your education status may be denied or revoked under certain circumstances.

You can find more details here: Apply for education status

If your status is denied or revoked, please refer to this article: What should I do if my education status is denied or revoked?

If you've gone through the info above and still have questions, feel free to reach out to the Figma team directly at education@figma.com. They'll be happy to help!
