Unable to search and use community plugins

Hi -

 

My plugins is not enabling me to search within the community. For example I have tried searching “Iconify” and it will not search the figma community, only my own assets/created plugins/widgets.

 

I have toggled through all of the options available to me and nothing seems to be working. I’m unsure what I am doing wrong.

Hmm, this seems unusual. I’m unable to reproduce the issue on my end and can find the plugin without any problem in Figma.

See screenshot below.

 

Does the issue occur in the Figma desktop app, browser or both? 

As a first step in troubleshooting, please try the following:

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
  • Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.

Hi Celine,

 

Im sorry for the late response.. I did not get a notification there was a reply! Thank you so much. I’m wondering if it is not working because it is asking me to turn on Figma AI? Or could it be a setting that my administration has turned on that is not allowing this?

 

 

I noticed in the differences between our two photos is out actions button. Mine shows the diamond, circle, square and +, where as yours is showing the AI stars. Do we think this could be playing a role?

 

Where can I direct my administration to turn on the AI features?

Hey ​@Sasha Swanson , no worries at all about the late reply.
I checked your Figma account, and it looks like you're part of an Organization plan that has a plugin allowlist enabled. If the plugin you're trying to use isn't on that list, it won’t appear.

You’ll need to contact your admin to request it be added. Hope that helps clarify!
