Hello,

I am facing repeated issues with the Figma Education reverification process and need support from the Figma team or advice from others who may have faced this problem.

  • I am from India and currently part of higher education.

  • I was previously part of the Figma Education program, but now my account requires reverification.

  • I tried multiple valid documents (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, College Student ID) but each attempt failed.

  • I carefully followed all SheerID guidelines (flat dark surface, proper lighting, no glare/shadows, full frame, both sides of ID).

  • I contacted SheerID Support, but they confirmed:

    • They cannot manually verify IDs via email.

    • The government ID check must be done only through the platform.

  • This leaves me stuck — my documents are genuine, but the platform rejects them every time.

  • I also hit the verification attempt limit, got it reset, and retried, but the outcome is always the same.

  • I urgently need my Education account active before the end of this month for academic work and projects.

My Questions:

  • Is there any alternative method to complete reverification?

  • Can Figma manually review my documents or escalate this case?

  • Has anyone in India (higher education students) faced similar issues with Aadhaar, PAN, or College ID, and how did you resolve them?
