Hi Figma Community,

I attempted to re-verify my Figma student account, but the system is now showing “Verification limit exceeded.”

I reached out to SheerID via email, but their response was:

“We were unable to process your verification request. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.”

Could you please suggest a solution for this issue? I won’t be able to re-verify my student plan otherwise, and this needs to be resolved before 29 September. Since SheerID has not provided any assistance, I would greatly appreciate your urgent support in resolving this matter.

Since SheerID handles all verification for the Higher Education plan, we don’t have direct visibility into individual cases. That said, I’ve flagged your experience internally so the right folks on our side are aware. Any broader updates we can share will also be posted here: Updates to our Figma Education plan.

I also checked and can see that you already have a case open with our Product Support team. They’ll be in touch with next steps once they’ve had the chance to review — your case number is: 1514335.

I have tried 2 times to confirm yet again and I am receiving this mail from SheerID. This is quite frustrating as I don’t know what to do now. My status is not confirmed and I am attaching the mail that I am receiving again and again.

Please help out with this as only 5 days are remaining to verify the status.

No contact has been made from SheerId side for manual verification. I have a college bonafide that proves I am a student. I dont know what else to do since only 2 days are left. No help has been provided from SheerId’s side since the very beginning. They just conveniently keep closing the tickets permanently.

Please look into this and do the needful.

This is quite frustrating as a user.
