Unable to import plugin from manifest

I am having trouble importing a plugin from a manifest file in the desktop app. Clicking ‘Import plugin from manifest’ doesn’t open a directory. Please see the attached screenshot

Are you also having issues to import a plugin from a manifest file through the browser? 

Can you try another way on the desktop app? Please follow these steps:
 

  1. Open the Figma desktop app.
  2. Create or open a file.
  3. In the upper-left corner, open the Figma menu and select Plugins.
  4. Under Development, select Import new plugin from manifest....
  5. Follow the prompts to import your plugin.

I tried same, but did not woking. getting same means not getting directory to open file

I haven’t received an update from the team yet, but I’ve reported this internally that multiple users are seeing the same behaviour. If I don’t hear back shortly, I’ll make sure to get you connected directly with our support team so this can be properly investigated.

Hey everyone, the team is asking for a bit more information to help investigate this further. Could you please share:

  • Your operating system

  • Your Figma app version

  • A short video showing the behaviour (for example, does clicking the menu item do nothing at all?)

They weren’t able to reproduce the issue on their end, so this extra context will really help them pinpoint what’s going on.
