If I make a square or an ellipse using ellipse tool or a rectangle tool and i am making sure that the vector is a closed path and it does not have any open path or a vector. After this i also flattened the vector and created a component after this also i am unable to see the Create Brush option.

Please help with resolving the same issues.

Hey @Priyanshu Shah - happy to help with this. If I’m understanding, you’re turning the flattened vector into a component afterwards. If that’s correct, you just need to use the flattened vector itself.

Try:

  1. In a new frame, create the shape of the brush you’d like to have. Flatten the vector, and name it.
  2. Then, in the actions button in the bottom toolbar, search “create scatter” or “create stretch brush” -- these are the 2 options currently available.
  3. Then, go into Figma Draw → select the brush tool → see if the brush appears with the name you applied

Please let me know if I misunderstood.
