I work for Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina and have been using the Figma Education Plan for many years. Recently, I was asked to re-verify my Education status by September 29th.

I’ve attempted the verification process multiple times, but SheerID requires me to upload a photo of a government-issued ID. Despite submitting clear photos, they consistently respond that they’re unable to confirm my identity. I’ve contacted SheerID to report the issue, but they simply close the case without resolution.

I’ve tried taking photos under different lighting conditions, yet the verification continues to fail. It’s clear that their process isn’t functioning properly in my case.

Could you please assist me in completing the new verification process?

Hey ​@Gastón Martino, thanks you for reaching out! I hear you, this is not the experience we want you to have.  

However, since the verification process is fully managed by our partner, SheerID, we unfortunately don’t have a way to override or complete the verification on our side. That said, I’ll make sure to flag your experience internally so our team is aware of how challenging is for you to get you government-issued ID accepted. 

In the meantime, the best next step is to reopen your ticket with SheerID and continue following up directly with them. I know that’s not the answer you were hoping for, but it’s currently the only path forward for completing the Education verification.
