Unable to change email - Link is expired or malformed

Hello, 

i have access to both my emails. switching from one email to another and figma and both accounts are logged in with username and password. 

When i click on the link, it continously says the link is either expired or malformed. 

I have requested this link severally and each time the link says the same thing. 

please help!

Hey ​@Peter Ndirpaya , Celine from Figma here, happy to help! Thanks for explaining your issue here.

Even if you have access to both email addresses, the email verification link will only work if you’re actively logged into the original account at the moment you click it.

Here are a few things you can try step by step:

  1. Sign into your Figma email account in a supported web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox)
  2. Sign into Figma in the same web browser
  3. Navigate to the verification email message in your inbox
  4. Right click the "Verify Email" button and select "copy link URL"
  5. Paste that link  into a new tab in the same browser 

If that still doesn’t work, try pasting the copied link (as described in steps 3 and 4) into an incognito/private window of your browser.
 
When you click the confirmation link from your email, make sure you log in a final time with the original email address or password on the account. That will verify the change and link your account to your new details moving forward.
