Transfer an ownership of my plugin

I need to transfer ownership of an existing public Community plugin from my old Figma account (redacted by the moderator due to PII) to my current Figma account (redacted by the moderator due to PII). Both accounts belong to me, but the old work email no longer exists, so I cannot access the original publisher account to update the plugin. The plugin is this one: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1422956196270075203 and also this one https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1550855685446984040/clean-svg-export Please help transfer the plugin ownership so I can publish updates from my current account.

    Hey ​@Matej Rajtár , thanks for reaching out to the Figma Forum! I’ve gone ahead and removed your email addresses here to protect your personal details here.

    Just to note: transferring ownership of a Community plugin isn't currently a self-service, in-app feature. This needs to go through our Support team directly, since it involves verifying ownership across both accounts for security reasons.

    Could you submit a request via the Support Hub/ Type ‘transfer owner plugin, contact an agent’ / Click Start and follow the prompts, and include:

    • The plugin's Community link
    • The email for your old account (the current owner)
    • The email for your current account (the one you'd like ownership transferred to)

    Our team will guide you through the verification process from there, thank you!

    Thanks ​@Celine_ , request created ✅ Just as a feedback: It was your chatbot on https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new that drafted my message including the explicit email addresses and suggested me to post it here in the forum as the solution to my problem.

    Please submit a request at https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, select Community plugins, widgets, and files and Using or buying a resource, then include both plugin links and explain that you no longer have access to the original publisher account

    → This does not exist anymore (and I’m just communicating with it on the same URL it is suggesting?)

     

    This was its further reply:

    For a Starter plan, if you want direct support from a person, please post in the Support Forum — the Figma Support Forum is a direct support channel, where you'll get help from Figma Community Support specialists and other Figma users.

    You can paste the ownership-transfer request text there exactly as written, along with the plugin link and the note that the old work email no longer exists.

      Thanks for sharing that additional context! That makes sense, and I can see why you ended up posting here based on the guidance you received.

      For Starter plan users, the Forum can be the first point of contact for certain issues, and from there our Community Support team can help determine when a case needs to be passed to our Support team for further investigation.
