Hi All,

Not sure whats happening, but when I copied text from web page and pasted into my Figma desktop app, the text changed. This is happening randomly and hard to replicate.

Here are the steps,

  1. Open Webpage
  2. Copy Traditional Chinese text
  3. Paste Traditional Chinese text
  4. Shows Simplified Chinese text

The randomness observed is, 

  1. It doesn’t always happen
  2. Some pages are fine
  3. Some pages shows issues
  4. It takes a few days to show up

Thanks for flagging this! I've tried testing with various words, but as you mentioned, this issue is difficult to replicate. I haven't been able to observe the behavior you described.

If you encounter this issue again, could you please:

  1. Share the specific text and site URL you copied from
  2. Let us know your environment details (Web vs Desktop app, Mac/Windows, browser type and version)

This information would help us in reproducing and addressing the problem.
