Question

Three Community plugins stuck "In review" for 2 to 3 weeks

Hi Figma team,

I submitted three plugins for Community review and they are still "In review" with no email:

- Manshur Theme Builder [redacted by moderator to remove personal information], submitted Oct 12
- Variable Studio [redacted by moderator to remove personal information], submitted Oct 12
- Populator [redacted by moderator to remove personal information], submitted Oct 18

That is 2 to 3 weeks, past the usual 5 to 10 business days. I've checked spam and found nothing. I also emailed support@figma.com, but only received the automated billing reply.

Could someone check their status, or let me know if anything is blocking approval?

Thanks,
Pooya

Hey @sirpooya, welcome to Figma Forum — thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay here. I looked into this for you and I have a status update.

First, I checked in with Customer Support and they’ve received your email, and are tracking your request under case: 2235417.

In addition, I confirmed that all three plugin submissions have been received and are queued for review. While I can’t access decisions or provide a specific timeline, I’ve shared this thread with the review team so they have the full context. They will continue working through submissions when they’re back during regular business hours.

The Platform Support team will email the address associated with your Figma account once a decision has been made, including any feedback or next steps. For more on the process, see these guidelines: Plugin and widget review guidelines.

Hi Tom - thanks for the reply here, I’m in a similar boat where a plug in I created for a workshop I’m holding this week is still unreviewed: https://www.figma.com/community/widget/1694719353020887702/idea-sticky

I understand that you guys can’t control it if there are many submissions and the queue gets long - but maybe you guys could rethink the pre-review process: you currently allow non-reviewed widgets for organizations only - you could potentially lower the load if pro plans from the came company could also share plug ins: less to review as not everything needs to be submitted, lower load on your review team, and quicker access for those that need those tools internally.
