the verification service used by Figma Education

My college document shows my name as DANIEL S, where ‘S’ is my family initial. However, the verification form requires both first and last names. I have entered my name as Daniel (first name) and S (last name). Kindly verify manually based on the attached official document.

I can understand how naming format might cause confusion during verification. Figma’s Education verification process is managed directly by SheerID, and they’re best equipped to manually review cases like this. If you haven’t already, please reach out to their support team and include your documentation here: Contact SheerID support team.

Hello Figma Support Team,

I am trying to activate the Figma Student Plan using my student ID from SLTC Research University (Sri Lanka). However, the verification system is not accepting my name due to the initials format used on our student IDs.

The name on my student ID appears as:
W.D.G. Ranjana

This format represents my initials followed by my surname. Therefore:
First Name: W.D.G.
Last Name: Ranjana

so when i use this format system fails to identify my name. I’ll attach the error i got here.

 I tried to contact both Figma support and SheerID through mails but didn’t got response. Kindly assist with manual verification of my student status or, solution to fix this issue is much appreciated.
