The search bar is not focused when using + or Cmd+T to open another file

I recently updated Figma and now when I’m in a file or on Home and click the [+] in the top bar to open another file - the search bar isn’t focused anymore. 

I have to go and click on it to start searching where before it was focused by default. It’s really annoying. 

 

Tabbing doesn’t work either - it cycles through already open files from left.

    Hey All, thanks for your patience while our team has been investigating and working on the fix! 

    I’ve combined a couple of topics into one here, so we can keep the messaging from the team streamlined. Our team is almost ready with the fix and hope to begin rolling it out soon.

      Same! It’s super annoying to lose this feature. Cmd + T and then directly typing your request is a typical feature (eg, many browsers).

      It’s frustrating to lose this and have to navigate with a mouse to the search input.
