When i select HDR option in capture feature in macOS. The image gets scaled 2x when pasted into the design.
I was completely surprised and tried every possible way to paste the image at the correct size that I saw on the web so I could compare them. After adjusting this setting, everything was resolved. If possible, I really wish that Figma would always paste images at a 1:1 ratio regardless of the format!
