The error: “You’ve made too many recent attempts. Please try again later.”

Hi! I purchased the file from the community, but I’m unable to open it. I keep getting the error: “You’ve made too many recent attempts. Please try again later.”

I did open quite a few files previously, but I haven’t opened any files in the past day

How can I access the file I purchased, and how long should I expect to wait for the restriction to be lifted?

    Hi ​@Elizaveta324242. Thanks for flagging - I’m sure it’s frustrating to purchase a file and then not be able to open it.

     

    It sounds like you’ve hit a rate limit that kicks in after a lot of recent activity on the account. The good news is it's temporary, though I advise against trying to open the file again right now while you’re seeing the message - that can actually push the wait time out further rather than resetting it. How long have you been seeing the message? I recommend waiting a while before trying again, such as waiting until after the weekend just to make sure it’s been long enough.

     

    If it's still blocking you after that, let me know and we can troubleshoot this further.
