Hey everybody,
I’m reporting an issue regarding image rendering within a shared design file in our team workspace.

My Problem:
One of my students is seeing some images completely pixelated/scrumbled, while others render correctly. The rest of the team sees everything perfectly. I have attached a screenshot from the student’s screen for reference.

Step to reproduce the issue / other detail:
User environment: the student is using Figma Desktop App on Windows v.126.1.4

File:

Could you please help us understand if this is a local cache issue, a memory limit problem or something related to how the assets are being downsampled?

Thanks in advance for your help!

All the best

Alessandro

Hi @Docente_Alessandro_Maculotti, thanks for reaching out!

Since this is only affecting one of your students, it’s most likely related to their local environment rather than the file itself.

Here’s a few things they can try:

  • Clear cache / restart: Refresh the file, clear browser cache & cookies, or restart the Figma desktop app

  • Check performance limits: Close other tabs/files to free up memory (Figma may downsample images if resources are limited)

  • Disable extensions: Ad blockers or security extensions can sometimes interfere with rendering

  • Round to pixels: If the image/frame is on decimal coordinates, try “Round to pixel” to avoid sub-pixel rendering issues

  • Update browser/app: Make sure they’re on a stable, up-to-date version (beta versions can cause display bugs)

If the issue persists after trying these, please let me know and we can continue troubleshooting together.
