Subscription transferred to wrong account — need reassignment or refund (Figma Weavy)

Hi Figma Support team,

I'm reaching out regarding a subscription issue with Figma Weavy.

My team lead recently purchased a paid plan, but the subscription was registered under their account  instead of mine. I'm the only person on our team who will be using Figma Weavy, so a Team plan doesn't make sense for us — only an individual plan assigned to me is needed.

Could you help with one of the following options:

  1. Transfer the subscription from my lead's account  to my account 
  2. Issue a refund to the original payment method so we can repurchase the plan under the correct account

The subscription was purchased recently and hasn't been actively used yet, so I hope a resolution is possible.

Please let me know what additional information you need to proceed.

While Figma Weave is part of the Figma family, billing and account management for Figma Weave is currently handled separately from Figma. So this isn't something we're able to action from our side just yet.

For subscription transfers or refund requests, you'll need to reach out directly to the Figma Weave team at support@weavy.ai

When you write in, it'll help to have the following ready:

  • The email on your team lead's account (where the subscription currently sits)
  • The email on your account (where it needs to go)
  • The purchase date and any order confirmation you have
