Subject: 🚨 Dev Mode Not Loading Code (Tried All Possible Solutions)

Issue Description:

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with Dev Mode in Figma: it has stopped loading code, even though it worked fine before. No matter which code type I select (HTML/CSS, React, Swift, etc.) in the Dev resources → Code panel, the field remains empty.

Key observations:

• The loading indicator spins, but in the end, the code section remains blank.
• I have tried different Dev Mode plugins (e.g., Figma to Code, Figma Tokens, etc.), but none of them load the code.
• I switched between different code types (HTML, React, Swift), but nothing changes.

I have already tried all possible troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked.

What I Have Already Tried:

✅ Checked Figma’s status → https://status.figma.com/ (everything is operational).

✅ Created a new project in my workspace → Dev Mode does not work even in a fresh file.

✅ Tried different Dev Mode plugins → none of them display any code.

✅ Opened Figma in different versions:

• Web version (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) — Not working
• Incognito mode — Not working
• Desktop app (Windows) — Not working

✅ Cleared Figma’s cache (both desktop and browser):

• Manually deleted the AppData/Roaming/Figma folder
• Cleared cache via Preferences → Clear Cache
• Used Ctrl + Shift + R and cleared cache in browser settings

✅ Disabled and re-enabled Dev Mode — did not help.

✅ Logged out and back in, tried a different device — issue persists.

✅ Tried logging in from another account — Dev Mode also does not work on a different account.

✅ Checked workspace permissions — I have a paid Professional Plan with full file access.

✅ Tried using Dev Mode with different files and components — code does not load in any of them.

Additional Details:

• Plan: Professional Plan
• Seats: 1 Full Seat (Design + FigJam)
• Billing status: Active, account is not restricted
• Browser: Chrome / Edge (latest versions)
• OS: Windows 11
• Figma Desktop: Latest version installed

Expected Behavior:

Previously, when enabling Dev Mode, I could see the code for any selected element. Now, the code section remains blank even in new files, different browsers, and with different plugins.

Please investigate the possible cause and suggest a solution. Could this be a bug in the latest Figma update?
