Student verification processing error

Hello,

I am trying to obtain a student plan in Figma, but I am facing repeated issues with the verification process. My student ID card is in Polish because I study at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Poland. I submitted the front and back of my student card several times, but the verification failed each time due to an error.

I have already contacted SheerID, the company responsible for the verification process, and created a support ticket. However, I previously had a negative experience with SheerID when trying to verify my student account, so I would kindly like to ask for assistance from the Figma moderation team.

This student plan is very important for me to complete my university work and finish my final projects. I would be extremely grateful for any help or intervention to resolve this issue.

Thanks for taking the step to follow up with SheerID — that’s really helpful context as we narrow down where things might be getting stuck in the verification flow.

If you haven’t already, could you loop in our Education Team by CC’ing education@figma.com on your existing SheerID ticket? That will allow both teams to review the student card issue together and move things forward more efficiently.

If anything blocks you as you take that step, feel free to let me know. We’ll make sure this gets resolved.

Thanks for answer, I added Education Team to my ticket by CC now, I hope now it visible for them, I`ll let you know if I receive any answer from SheerID in near future.

Hi Tom,

It’s now been 7 days since I submitted the email to SheerID, and I still haven’t received any response from them. I’m concerned that waiting longer may not lead to any progress.

Could you please help me with this issue or advise what I should do next?
