Student verification doesn't work

 I have tried several times to log in and verify my student profile, but each time it tells me I still need to "verify status." If I try again to verify it, I get the message "Verification Limit Exceeded. We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer." What should I do? I’ve already contacted the figma support but they haven’t responded yet…

I really need my figma education account for my uni finals :(((

Hey ​@Larusque , thanks for the extra details! I checked in with our Education team, and it looks like your EDU status is already verified under a different email address.

To update the email on your verified EDU account, you’ll need to submit this form: Request to Move Figma EDU Status.
Requests are reviewed in the order they’re received, with a response time of up to 5 business days.

Since they’re the right team to help with this, I’ll go ahead and close this thread. They will follow up with you directly, thank you!

If you’re seeing a “Verification Limit Exceeded” message, the best thing to do is contact SheerID directly here. They now have an improved process for handling these cases and can guide you through what’s needed to complete your verification. Even if you’ve already contacted them in the past, their updated system is designed to give you a faster and smoother resolution.

Just a reminder that Figma isn’t able to review documents or confirm eligibility, so please be sure to reply to any follow-up emails from SheerID (that’s important to keep your application moving forward.)

Yes, I tried to contact them but they replied with this: “Thank you for contacting SheerID regarding your verification request for the Figma offer. I am sorry to hear that you have exceeded the limit of applications during the verification process. I am glad to assist you.
 
I apologize for the long wait as we work through more than normal emails. 
 
Looking at our records, I can see that you were approved for this offer on October 21, 2025. Please know that SheerID can only approve a request once every 335 days. As a result, submitting a new verification request will not be processed.
 
As a third-party verification company, SheerID assists solely with the online verification process. For this reason, redemption or code issues are outside of SheerID's ability to assist because the verification has been completed. Thus, I have to kindly ask you to contact Figma directly at https://www.figma.com/contact/ so they can further assist you in redeeming your discount.”6
