Student verification blocked: “Verification limit reached” after failed attempt outside U.S. (Figma Education / SheerID)

Hi Figma community,

I’m trying to verify my student status to get the Figma Education plan, but I’m blocked with an error that the verification attempt limit has been reached.

What happened

• I attempted verification last week while I was outside the U.S.

• I completed the application and received emails from SheerID, but the verification did not go through.

• When I tried again today, I got the message that the verification limit has been reached.

• I have never successfully obtained the Education plan before.

Additional detail

• I’m using my school-issued email.

What I need help with
Has anyone run into this before? Is there anything I can do on my end to resolve it, or can the Figma support team look into my case? Thanks everyone.
